US presidents remembered Carter, who died at the age of 100.

Former US President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100, says the organization bearing his name.
Representing the Democratic Party, Carter served as president for one term, from 1977 to 1981.
Carter is the oldest living US president.
He had been in hospice care at his home in Plains, Georgia, since early last year.
As president, Carter pursued a policy of peace and reconciliation, which resulted in, among other things, the Israel-Egypt peace agreement. After his presidency, Carter had a decades-long career as a defender of human rights and peace, for which he was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
“Worked tirelessly for a better world”
A sitting President of the United States Joe Biden wrote soon after the news of his death came out that Carter was “a man of principle, faith and humility”. According to Biden, America and the world lost an extraordinary leader and statesman. He added that Carter would be given a state funeral.
Future President of the United States Donald Trump in turn wrote that “Carter did everything he could to improve the lives of every American”. According to Trump, all Americans owe Carter a debt of gratitude for this.
The president who served in the years 1993–2001 Bill Clinton’s said Carter worked “tirelessly for a better and more just world.”
Served as president in 2001–2009 George W. Bush in his writing, he particularly recalled Carter’s post-presidency work, which included building affordable housing and promoting global democracy.
After Bush, who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017 Barack Obama’s according to Carter taught what it is like to live a life based on grace, dignity, justice and service.
