Former US President Donald Trump and his children agreed They

In a joint agreement submitted to the court in New York, Trump and his children agreed to answer questions from New York Attorney General Letitia James, effective July 15, if the deadline for testimony that expired Thursday is extended.

The deal comes after Trump’s long resistance to stop Attorney General James’ three-year investigation.

According to the agreement signed by the parties, it was reported that Trump still has the right to apply to the New York Court of Appeals to overturn the decision, which requires him to testify.

Attorney General James’ office, unlike before, declined to comment on the specification.

CASE PROCESS

New York Attorney General Letitia James has called on Trump and her children to testify as part of an investigation that claims the value of assets such as skyscrapers and golf courses owned by the Trump Organization has been misrepresented in financial statements for more than a decade.

Each time, Trump and his lawyers objected to the decision and declared that they did not have the documents requested by the attorney general’s office.

Two weeks ago, after a long process, the New York State Court of Appeals upheld the decision regarding the investigation that Trump had to come to the court and testify.

A day later, a federal judge dismissed Trump’s attempt to get a court order to stop James’ investigation into him.
