The former treasurer of a Norfolk youth soccer club is facing criminal charges.
Police say Brodie Allan Elias Chambers, age 33, of Norfolk County was taken into custody by the Norfolk OPP Crime Unit on Friday, March 3, 2023.
Officers began a fraud investigation in February 2023 after receiving a complaint from a youth soccer club in Norfolk County. Police did not release the name of the club.
The accused is charged with criminal breach of trust; fraud over $5,000; and use deals, acts on forged document.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
