Former SNL star charged with tin crash
Former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson has been charged with reckless driving, following an incident three months ago in which he crashed into a residence in affluent Beverly Hills.
“Fortunately, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision,” the Los Angeles County Attorney’s Office said in a statement. Prosecutors are using the high-profile case to draw attention to the devastating consequences that careless driving can have.
Pete Davidson participated in “SNL” for eight seasons and left the sketch show last year. He has also been rewritten for romances with various celebrities such as singer Ariana Grande and reality star Kim Kardashian.
Davidson is expected to make an initial appearance in court on July 27.
