This is the fourth kidnapping in less than a year in Guinea. A little more than 100 days after the disappearance, on July 9, of Foniké Menguè and Mamadou Billo Bah about which we still have no newsand that of Colonel Célestin Bilivogui whose the body was finally presented to his family At the end of September, a former senior executive of the mining administration was in turn kidnapped on Thursday October 17. While he had an appointment in a large hotel in Conakry, Sadou Nimaga was kidnapped in broad daylight, in the company of his driver.

Sadou Nimaga was approached after a meeting last Thursdayconfirms Me Mohamed Traoré, his family’s lawyer. Four people then forced him to get into his own vehicle, with his driver. What is distressing about this affair is that this kidnapping took place in broad daylight in front of witnesses and that the kidnappers acted openly: they did not even fear being filmed by the surveillance cameras which could be in the hotel! », continues he.

His family is obviously very worried”

If, according to Mr. Mohamed Traoré, the driver was released under conditions, Sadou Nimaga’s relatives, however, still have no news of him. “ His family is obviously very worried. As for the driver, he was released but prohibited from discussing this matter in front of anyone, under penalty of being eliminated. », Explains Me Traoré who already rules out the hypothesis of a villainous act.

According to him, a first witness was questioned by the police as part of the investigation which was opened by the Guinean justice system.
