Former professional Radinsky is looking forward to his Dutch baseball adventure at UVV: ‘Passion and dedication are stronger than talent’

Former professional Radinsky is looking forward to his Dutch baseball

Radinsky (55) spent 11 seasons as a pitcher in the American Major League. And it can rightly be called a rabbit from a hat. Radinsky, who comes from California, made his debut for the Chicago White Sox in 1990, then played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals and ended his playing career in 2001 with the Cleveland Indians. He did not play in 1994 when he successfully battled cancer.

With the White Sox he was close to a place in the World Series, the final of the American championship, in 1993. With Chicago he lost in six games to the later World Series winner Toronto Blue Jays. Radinsky played in four games against Toronto.
