Anders Besseberg from Norway, who led the International Biathlon Association between 1992 and 2018, has received a lifetime ban.

According to IBU, the recent decision of CAS discusses how there was a direct link between the use of prostitutes and the status of Besseberg as chairman of the International Biathlon Association.
