As a player, Johan Neeskens was active at Ajax, Barcelona and at clubs in the United States. He ended his career in Switzerland, where he lived most of the year to this day. In the Netherlands he lived in Utrecht. He also traveled around the world as a trainer; Switzerland, Australia, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey and South Africa.
