(Finance) – The Commissioners of Ilva in extraordinary administration have requested ad Acciaierie d’Italia urgent updates regarding the operating status of the plants’ systems, the initiatives currently underway and the need for an inspection visit”.

Furthermore, for some days we have been recording an illicit movement of personnel from one plant to another without adequate knowledge of the work and the risks involved. After the intervention of Minister Urso and the Ilva AS commissioners, we expect all the necessary checks to be carried out immediately to stop this destructive process, to avoid any danger for the health and safety of workers and citizens and to safeguard the integrity of the plants”.
