The rape against the woman, who lives in the group accommodation in Uppsala municipality for people with LSS decisions, is said to have taken place early Saturday afternoon and was reported to the police by staff.
The suspect, a man in his 50s, is said to have previously worked at the residence and visited. He denies any crime, but is in custody on probable cause.
– I do not want to go into more detail about what has happened, says prosecutor Erik Grönvall.
Suspected of two rapes
The man is also suspected of having raped another woman in his home. It must have happened in July last year, and was reported by the woman in connection with the crime. The man denies that too.
– It is a person he must have known from before, but I don’t want to go into what kind of relationship they had, says Erik Grönvall.
