Forgotten luxury cars worth millions found in old storage

About 20 remarkable finds have made headlines. The rare howlers were found last year after being left untouched for years in an old warehouse, something like Belgian VRT News now paying attention.

It is believed that the cars, 16 exclusive Ferraris and six Porsche luxury cars, were forgotten after they were parked.

– The models are from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and are in good condition, says Xavier Molenaar, operations manager at Oldtimerfarm, to vrt news.

A world-unique find

The cars, which are probably worth several million euros, must have been neatly covered.

– The large number of Ferrari Testarossas, known from the Miami Vice series, is of particular interest,” says the operations manager.

A top find is a yellow Ferrari 512 BB. According to Xavier Molenaar, it is suspected that only about a dozen of the model were produced in the color.

That and its exceptional condition probably make the sports car unique in the entire world. The collection also includes rare air-cooled turbocharged Porsche 911 and S models.

“Very exceptional”

Xavier Molenaar describes the car collection as “very exceptional”.

– Owners of similar cars usually sell their old models before buying new ones. That twenty-two are discovered in the same place is unprecedented in Belgium.

The probability that similar finds can be hidden in the country must be very low.

Unknown owner

The owner remains mysterious and anonymous. He is said to be a wealthy industrialist who collected cars several years ago but moved abroad.

The exact location of the old warehouse has also not been revealed.

The luxury cars are being made road-safe. After that, they will be put up for sale individually. From the end of January, they have been able to be viewed at a showroom at Oldtimerfarm.
