“The fact is that the price of forest land after 2021’s sharp price increase has continued to rise to new record levels. The average price for forest land in Sweden has increased by 5.4 percent in real terms in the first half of 2022,” says Peter Calderon, business area manager in a press release.
In northern Sweden, the price increase has been the greatest with an increase of 8.8 percent, which means SEK 39,000 per hectare.
