Firefighters in Spain are fighting forest fires in at least 30 different locations. It has been reported that thousands of hectares of land in the country have been turned to ash so far.
90 percent under control
The fight against the forest fire that started at noon on July 15 near the city of Mijas in the Andalusia region of Spain continues. As a result of the fire, which was 90 percent under control, 2 more people died in the Zamora state of the country today.
Thousands of hectares burned
While the authorities announced that the 59-year-old farmer and the 62-year-old firefighter died in the fire, the fire brigade in Spain continues to fight active fires in at least 30 different points.
