Right now, extreme drought is creating major problems around Europe. In several places, rivers are so dried up that ship transport is affected.
In Great Britain, the multi-million dollar city of London is threatened by a water shortage and in France forest fires are raging that threaten buildings.
Temperatures are above 40 degrees and on Friday MSB sent two firefighting planes to Gironde, south-west France, to help with the extinguishing work.
