Three foreign citizens have been arrested at a military security facility in Strängnäs.
– The persons are suspected of access inside protected objects. That is the reason for the arrest.
The persons – all men – were discovered by the Armed Forces personnel in connection with their driving a car into the area.
– I cannot say much more at the moment than that it is about foreign citizens. We will hold formal interviews with them to clarify their intentions, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg, press spokesperson at the police.

According to the police, the protected object previously constituted a regiment and is located at Eldsundsviken.
The alarm came to the police just before 1 pm on Thursday.
