(Finance) – Over United States Ford Motors sold almost 2 million vehicles in 2023 (+7.1% compared to the previous year) but the growth in sales is among the lowest when compared to the overall increase in the sector, which recorded sales of 15.6 million vehicles. In fact, the company came in third in overall sales in the United States, behind Toyota And General Motors. The series has a positive note pick up F of Ford which was confirmed as the best-selling vehicle in America for the 47th consecutive year. The 2023 result is however the best recorded by the car manufacturer since 2020.
Sales of electric vehicles totaled 72,608 for the year, up 18% on 2022. “In a year of challenges, from labor strikes to supply issues, our amazing range of petrol, electric and hybrid vehicles and our fantastic dealers have provided solid growth and momentum,” Ford’s CEO said in a statement.
