Reports from long-time employees of the White House give a new, far more serious picture of Trump’s operations.
The investigation into the takeover of the US House of Congress took a new, more heated turn yesterday when the President was heard Donald Trumpin chief of staff Mark Meadowsin senior assistant Cassidy Hutchinson.
Hutchinson was questioned in the House of Representatives about the events of the riot day, January 6, 2021.
According to Hutchinson, the White House already knew in advance that a riot was coming. President Trump’s assistants were concerned and tried to prevent the incident without success.
That morning White House counselor Pat Cipollone tried to get Hutchinson to speak to Chief of Staff Meadows to drop the protest organized by Trump.
Cipollone wondered what crimes the incident could lead to. These included obstruction of justice, falsification of election results and incitement to riot.
“Weapons don’t matter”
Already in the morning, a confirmation was received at the White House that people coming to hear Trump’s speech had guns like pistols, pepper spray and even spears.
Despite the warnings, Trump went to talk to people at Ellipse Park near the White House.
According to Hutchinson, Trump was irritated when there was not enough audience near the podium. The reason was that in order to get close to the president, one had to pass a security check.
Many of Trump’s supporters had weapons with them that they would have had to give up. According to Hutchinson, Trump demanded that security checks be waived.
– I don’t care if they have guns. They haven’t come to shoot me. Take those damn metal detectors off, Hutchinson said Trump said.
Did Trump try to grab the steering wheel?
After his speech, Trump was sure he would go to the convention hall in a car convoy. However, security officials said he could not go there under any circumstances. His safety would have been in jeopardy because some sort of skirmish was clearly about to begin in Congress and people had guns.
According to Hutchinson, Trump was furious. This part of Hutchinson’s report is based on second-hand sources. He says he heard Trump had reached out from the back seat during the trip and tried to grab the wheel of the car to force it in the direction of Capitol Hill.
The security guards who were in the car have later promised a sworn hearing where they will tell you what really happened in the car.
The United States is considering exactly what Trump wanted Congress to do. His assistants have said he may just wanted to give a speech.
The final screening of the presidential election was underway in Congress, in which the votes of the electorate were verified and confirmed. Joe Biden profit. Trump supporters aimed to prevent this from happening and re-elect Trump as president. Would Trump have wanted to be the leader of this lawlessness? No answer has yet been received.
Supporters also threatened the vice president Mike Pencen hanging and violence by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosia towards.
Trump raged in the past
The congressional hearing has previously provided information about President Trump’s outbursts of rage.
When Trump was appointed Attorney General Bill Barr Trump said there was nothing fraudulent in the counting of votes in the presidential election, Trump was furious, broke porcelain dishes, and ketchup had dripped on the dining room wall. The White House Communications Manager told Congress Kayleen McEnany.
Cassidy Hutchinson had also witnessed a similar use.
– There were several times during my term […] when I found out he was either throwing dishes or pulling a tablecloth so that all the stuff from the table flew to the floor.
Trump: Full of pity and jealous speech
Donald Trump has called Hutchinson on social media a “total phony” and denied the allegations.
According to Trump, he barely knew who Hutchinson was.
In addition, Trump says Hutchinson applied to work for Trump’s Florida apartment in Mar-a-Lago, but Trump himself would have knocked out the job application. On that basis, Trump says Hutchinson is speaking only to avenge Trump.
CNN news channel (switch to another service) says Hutchinson was very well known in the White House. He was also always on the President’s flights on an Air Force 1 plane when Chief of Staff Meadows was involved.
