It was in September 2021 that the woman encountered the 17-year-old in the elevator outside her apartment at night. The boy, whom she did not know before, approached her and then forced his way into her apartment, where the rape then took place.
The 17-year-old is now sentenced at the Halmstad district court to closed youth care for one year and two months for aggravated rape. He must also pay roughly SEK 235,000 to the crime victim.
