The company Titan Computers sells powerful high-end computers in the USA. According to its website, the company counts numerous universities, NASA and several US ministries among its customers.

With the A900 you now have a particularly powerful PC on offer, if not the fastest PC you can currently buy. But you can also buy a fast sports car for that money.

Another PC company wasn’t quite as lucky and successful with its luxury PCs:

With the best equipment you pay around 123,000 euros

What’s in the computer? In the basic configuration you pay “only” 7,975 US dollars for the computer. That’s still a lot of money, but a far cry from 120,000 euros. Only if you want the full equipment with 4 TB of RAM, the fastest CPU and a fast Nvidia graphics card, then you will end up paying the equivalent of 123,000 euros.

Why do you need such a computer? The company Titan Computers explains that the computer is aimed primarily at technical experts and less at gamers. The company cites deep learning, data analysis, media/video streaming, cloud gaming and animation and modeling as application examples.

The A900 is therefore not necessarily a model that you put under or on your desk for gaming to play Call of Duty or Baldur’s Gate. Theoretically, this works without any problems, but you won’t be able to fully utilize AMD’s server CPU.

What else do you get for so much money? You can also buy a sports car for 123,000 euros. The Porsche Taycan 4S already costs 120,900 euros in its basic configuration. Alternatively, you pay around 100,000 euros for the normal Taycan and can then spend the remaining 20,000 euros on upgrades. Or you can buy a heavy sedan with the BMW i7 for 120,000 euros.

Many gamers are willing to invest a lot of money in their gaming hobby. The German company Mifcon has now presented a gaming PC that costs just under 30,000 euros. That’s not quite as much as the American company’s luxury model, but still a lot of money: German company presents gaming PC with Nvidia’s RTX 4090: It weighs 14 kg and costs as much as a car
