The City-Cobra as a media book

That’s what the action hit The City Cobra is all about

A serial killer spreads fear and terror in Los Angeles: The so-called slasher (Brian Thompson) primarily targets women. Police officer Marion Cobretti (Stallone), known as Cobra, finds the witness Ingrid Knudsen (Brigitte Nielsen), whom the killer is targeting. But Cobra has a plan and… barricades himself with her in a motel full of weapons, where he waits for the psychopath to attack.

Stallone wrote the script for FSK-18 Action

Before The City Cobra Stallone was supposed to star in Beverly Hills Cop. However, after his script ideas were rejected, he passed up the opportunity (via Variety). Instead, he wrote the script for City Cobra, which is based on the novel Fair Game by Paula Gosling. The action flick may not have achieved the cult status of Rambo and Rocky, but it is one of Stallone’s most iconic and toughest films. The FSK-18 approval is no coincidence.
