Anyone who has around SEK 60 million to spare and is looking for a new place to live can turn their eyes to Paris.
There, the legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld’s apartment is to be sold by the Paris Chamber of Commerce at the end of March.
The target price is 5.3 million euros for the 260 square meter apartment with a dressing room and wardrobe of 50 square meters. The apartment, which is described as futuristic, is located in a 17th-century house on the Quai Voltaire in the seventh arrondissement and offers views of the Seine and the Louvre.
Karl Lagerfeld, known for black sunglasses and his white hair in a ponytail, was, among other things, the artistic director of the fashion houses Chloé, Fendi and Chanel.
He passed away in 2019, aged 85, and lived the last ten years of his life in the apartment that is now up for sale.
