For just €2,280 you can finally look like Steve from Minecraft

Beef is the best Netflix series of the year so

For some, pixel optics in games is an immediate exclusion criterion, others just can’t get enough of the nostalgic look. A new collection lets particularly loyal fans finally wear the pixel look in real life – provided they have the wherewithal.

Pixel graphics were originally due to the technical limitations of the 80s and 90s. Today, technology has advanced so much that incredibly realistic gaming experiences are possible: from a walk through Amsterdam to crumpled bed sheets.

Despite these possibilities, some gamers love the good old pixel graphics that are still used in many indie games today. Such games are often comparatively cheap, which is also a good thing. Because the money saved in this way can now be invested in the new collection of the Spanish luxury brand Loewe.

If realism is everything to you, you might not be able to wait to immerse yourself in games with the Deep Dive.

The “Deep Dive” should let us immerse ourselves in MMORPGs like never before – what is that actually?

What is this collection? With its “Pixel” collection, the Spanish fashion company Loewe has brought out a special treat for fashion-conscious retro gamers and Minecraft fans. This is intended to “decontextualize the digital world” (via hypebeast).

The result is a series of photos that will have you wondering if your eyes are glitching now.

How much does the fun cost? The entire collection isn’t exactly cheap at a fittingly binary price of €11,110. But you can get the look of Minecraft Steve for a comparatively cheap €2,280.

One can argue about the suitability for everyday use of the wearable pieces of art, but the look is always quite impressive. Especially the rather coarse-pixelated T-shirt or the light blue hoodie hardly look real on photos.

If you want to buy one of the funky pieces or just have a look around, you can do that on Loewe’s website.

Traditionally, gamers aren’t exactly known for their fashion sense. Just because you like to gamble doesn’t mean you have to limit yourself to sweatpants and hoodies, as this collection proves:
