For his 3rd year internship his mother makes him a

In search of an internship, a 14-year-old schoolboy must provide a CV even though he has never worked. Surprised by the request, his mother publishes her rant on social networks with a good touch of humor and her son’s tailor-made CV. A post that made people react (and laugh). Details.

Parents know how very hard it can be for their children still in their studies to find an internship, a work-study program or to pass an entrance examination for a school. On the other hand, what most know less is that a certain pressure can start as early as college. Florence Corbet recently experienced it, or at least her son, who was barely 14 years old. While the latter in third grade must find at all costs an internship in a company for, as indicated by the site of the ministry “Discover the world of work, share the daily life of professionals and benefit from concrete experience”, his search was cut short when he was asked to submit your resume. Yes, a curriculum vitae at 14, even though it is only possible to work in France from the age of 16. Quite surprised, the mother of the young teenager decided to react a few days ago on Linkedin: “My 14-year-old son is looking for his ninth-grade observation internship and we’re asking him for his CV. Seriously, guys??? You had a CV, did you, at 14?”, she wrote in her post. And she added over it a dose of humor that made people react. Details.

A tailor-made CV for a teenager

Florence Corbet did not do things by halves and she was right, according to the reactions of some Internet users. To mark the occasion or at least to respond in a humorous tone to the request of the company to which his son applied, the mother of the family lent herself to the game by making her child’s CV herself. She shared it.

We can therefore see that his 14-year-old son has already obtained several fixed-term contracts, including one for the position of “hooded geek” which is still in progress, and another in 2008 (which goes back to his year of birth) for the mission of “baby” that he made from his home (in his crib). The “Loulou” as presented also has some significant qualities and skills such as “emptying the dishwasher”even if progress remains to be made, or even “cable connections” and “coding weird stuff“where he excels.

A response that is not unanimous

Following its sharing on the Linkedin professional network, the CV produced by the mother of the family has aroused many reactions, sometimes mixed. “Well, yes? 16 years ago (ouch, it stings), in 9th grade, I had made a CV to look for an internship other than by counting on Dad-Mom’s relations. Admittedly, there weren’t many -thing in it, but it allows you to become familiar with the exercise”, replied a user. Another user said: “Abusive, exaggerated, inappropriate request?… several ways to see it. And there are many others. Personally my first thought when reading this post was: what an opportunity!!… for young people to to stand out, to express themselves freely, to discover the first stage of recruitment in a constantly evolving world in which their identity will play a major role.” Different points of view. Whatever, in total, the Linkedin post has been shared over 1,800 times and commented on and liked by thousands of people. Who knows, maybe thanks to this visibility the little “Loulou” was put on the front of the stage and could finally find his internship.
