More than 100,000 refugees are on French territory. Many of them benefit from a solidarity welcome, hosted voluntarily by French people who have shown a real spirit of solidarity. But this solidarity has a cost and in this period of inflation and the ongoing crisis, it is becoming more and more difficult for some hosts to meet the needs of refugees, so the government has decided to grant them financial aid.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, millions of Ukrainians have fled their country, including women, children and the elderly.
