Hammarby and Häcken were on the same points in second and third place in the women’s league table before the meeting. With a lot at stake, it was an even start to the match and was goalless at the break.
Ellen Wangerheim gave Hammarby the lead in the 53rd match minute. Häcken made two changes in the first half and brought in Anna Anvegård and Felicia Schröder. Those changes would prove to be important.
For Häcken’s equalizer came when none other than Felicia Schröder passed to Anna Anvegård who scored the 1-1 goal from long distance.
– That was the worst, what a blast! exclaimed the commentators in Viaplay’s broadcast.
Anvegård and Schröder then switched roles. A pass by Anvegård paved the way for Felicia Schröder to score 2-1 with ten minutes left in the match.
After the 2-1 away win, Häcken takes second place six points behind Rosengård. The Skåne team has played one less game.
