After a speechless first half, IFK Norrköping took command in the group game against AIK. After 58 minutes of play, Vesna Milivojevic cracked zero. Minutes later, the home team extended 2-0 through Wilma Leidhammar. The 21-year-old panged a free kick from a distance, a real dream goal.
– It was nice that it sat. It means a lot to start the season like this, we have had problems with the goal scorer so nice that it releases a bit, says Leidhammar in Aftonbladet’s broadcast.
But everything was not peace and delight in Norrköping. The team captain, experienced Fanny Andersson got the ball in the center plane, turned away his opponent but twisted his leg wrong and fell into pain. The 30-year-old then got help to get off the pitch in tears.
It is currently unclear how serious the damage is.
Norrköping won the match 2-0 and will be set this weekend against Kristianstad in a clean group finals.
