Football: Strange situation that TV viewers missed – receives two yellow cards but is not sent off

Watch the strange situation that TV viewers missed in the player above.

Ieltsin Camoes first brought down Carlos Moro’s Gracia and was given a yellow card fairly promptly by the referee.

A scuffle ensued and Camoes then put Degerfors attacker Gustav Lindgren. Then the referee called both Lindgren and Camoes to him whereupon he gave both players a yellow card each.

A situation that was not visible in the broadcasting company Max sändning.

Received two yellow cards

The red card never came, despite Camoes being cautioned twice, and the 25-year-old played on.

The match ended 1–1 and Degerfors sports director Patrik Werner was not satisfied with the referee’s decision.

– There are too many situations in the match that make us think we are at a disadvantage. We would have liked a better effort but we didn’t manage to win the game ourselves. We don’t blame the referee in any way, but he has probably had better days at his job, he tells SVT Sport.

Will contact SvFF

Werner believes that they will proceed with this to the Swedish Football Association.

– It is clear that we will take this up. We will address that situation and other events as well, we are not at all happy with how it turned out.

Deger trainer William Lundin was also very dissatisfied with the referee’s decision.

– It’s a big scandal, he says NWT.

SVT Sport has applied for Stefan Johannesson, responsible elite referee at SvFF.
