In the SVT Play series “The EC trip with Johan Kücükaslan”, SVT Sport is on site in Bergamo to meet the former soccer player and now expert commentator Glenn Strömberg. It doesn’t take long before Glenn is swarmed by fans wanting to take pictures.
– I am incredibly proud of this. It’s not just about the eight years I played at Atalanta and was captain. It is more that I have lived and remained here for 40 years. I die here. They see me as one of them, says Strömberg.

– It means a lot when people say that Glenn is the person they like. More than the football player. It is a greater recognition from those who live here. They have taken me to their heart. I am a son they adopted into this city.
