Football: Rosa Kafaji after the success jump: “Really lovely”

Sweden drew 1-1 away to reigning European champions England when the EC qualifiers began at Wembley.

For Rosa Kafaji, only two touches of the ball were required before she was behind the 1-1 goal, Fridolina Rolfö’s header.

  • Stina Blackstenius on the miss against England: “Incredibly big disappointment”

  • Stina Blackstenius on the England match: “Know what strengths they have”

  • “Saw Rolfö’s forehead”

    – I remember I got the ball from Stina, I see Rolfö’s forehead so I hit it. It was really, really lovely, says the 20-year-old.

She was told at half-time that she would be coming in and enjoyed the atmosphere of the big game.

For Kafaji, there have been some big matches now, both with the national team but also with Häcken in the Champions League.

    “Was pretty quick”

    – It’s incredibly fun. It’s been pretty fast as far as international football goes anyway.

She sees a development thanks to the tough matches.

    – I would probably say that I am a bit more mature in my game. I might have shocked a few people, says Kafaji, smiling.
