Football Norwegian Erling Haaland equals Premier League single season goalscoring record

Norway’s Erling Haaland equaled the Premier League single-season goalscoring record by scoring his 34th goal for Manchester City against Fulham on Sunday 30 April. He joins Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, who had also scored 34 goals in a season, but there were 42 games played per season in the championship and not 38 as has been the case since 1995-1996. This goal is also his 50th achievement of the season in all competitions in the Mancunian jersey, a total which has not been achieved by a player from an English club since Tom Waring with Aston Villa during the 1930-31 season.
