While many players were expecting the new Football Manager 25 to be released in November, the publisher has just spoken out on social networks.
If you’ve been waiting for November to get your hands on the next Football Manager 25, you’ll have to be patient. An announcement that will not surprise all players since the game’s official social networks had already mentioned a postponed release date for the next opus.
It was also on FM25’s social networks that the announcement was made: Sega’s next management game will not be available in 2024. After several internal discussions, the decision was finally made by mutual agreement to postpone Football Manager 25 until March 2025.
The publisher also mentions that the game development cycle is very trying. This could notably come from the title’s new engine, Unity, which could require developers to make more investments to fully master the technology. Football Manager 25 also plans other new features which could pose some problems to implement, notably the integration of women’s leagues and the simplification of menus and interfaces.
Regardless, fans of the saga will now have to wait several months before being able to play Football Manager 25, hoping that the game will not be postponed again before then.
