Football: Linda Sembrant saw red in Bayern Munich’s record match

One who did get to see the match from the substitutes’ bench was the Swedish national team defender Linda Sembrant.

The 37-year-old received his second yellow card just over a quarter of an hour from the end and was sent off. She received the card after having contact from behind with an opponent who fell and received a penalty.

Sembrant was incomprehensible to the yellow card and the expulsion.

Leipzig reduced it to 5-2 on the ensuing penalty, but eventually won 6-2 – 41st league victory in a row.

After two rounds in the Bundesliga, Bayern have the full pot with six points.

The last time Bayern lost a match in the Bundesliga was on October 23, 2022 when Wolfsburg won.

Julia Zigiotti Olme remained on Bayern’s bench for the entire match.
