The Kalmar players picked up a welcome win and could shout their joy after the victory against BP away from home.
– Now there are two games left and we must do everything we can to score points, says Kalmar’s interim coach Stefan Larsson in Max broadcast.
It was a raging story.
Alexander Jensen gave BP the lead in the 66th minute. He got a celebration hit on a free kick and could see the ball sail in to make it 1–0.
But in the end it was all about the guests. Lars Sätra reached the top of a corner in the 85th minute and was able to equalize with a header. Three minutes later it was Dino Islamovic’s turn. He made his way into the penalty area and coolly slotted in 2-1.
The final result means important points for Kalmar in the battle for the bottom. They are second to last in the Allsvenskan and have a stick up to Halmstad, who are in the relegation qualifying place.
