– It was nice to get the equalizer and we got a decent push. We want three points because we are leading, but all points are important and Häcken are skilled, says two-goal scorer Christoffer Nyman to Max.
About a quarter of an hour from the end, Max covered Wilson and got the ball on his arm. Häcken’s Ali Youssef scored the penalty for 3-2 in the goal – close to David Mitov Nilsson getting hold of the ball. It was the first time that Häcken, who had European games away to Heidenheim in southern Germany on Thursday night, led the match.
“Should have punctured the match earlier”
Norrköping was hard at work in extra time, but time seemed to be running out. After chaos in the penalty area, Vito Hammershoj-Mistrat equalized on the half volley in the 95th minute and wild joy erupted in the arena.
– It’s hard to put it into words, it was damn sad. The referee does not see that the ball bounces up on the hand at the end. But we should have punctured the match earlier, says Häcken’s Samuel Leach Holm – goalscorer for the first time in the Häcken jersey after the transfer from Djurgården two weeks ago.
