It was in last season’s series final between the teams that Hammarby tightened their grip on what would later become the club’s first SM gold.
Before that, Hammarby had also defeated Häcken in the cup final. Hammarby’s attacking star Ellen Wangerheim was in the series final, which ended 3-2.
– There have been tough matches, decisive matches, always a lot of spectators because it is very good football that both teams play, so a rivalry has definitely been built up, Wangerheim continues.
However, the chance that Wangerheim, who was injured and missed the last match against Örebro, will play against Häcken is small:
– I hope to make it to the end, but the chance is not that great.
