Already in the second minute Romelu Lukaku found Youri Tielemans who pushed the ball into the net.
The goal meant that the weight was lifted from the shoulders of the Belgians and they lined up several scoring chances against Romania. Lukaku tried to get his first goal in the championship, but failed again and again. He even had a goal disallowed via a minimal VAR offside – his third VAR disallowed goal of this European Championship.
