England’s King Charles III was, like most of the country, happy after the victory. But he chose to send a call to national team captain Gareth Southgate and the team.

The reaction to the statement
In a press conference ahead of the final against Spain, England’s Watkins was asked about the message of trying to win in such a way.
– As much as it makes things more exciting, I feel, personally, that I don’t care how we win or score, as long as we get to feel the net rattle, he says.
