The first match between the big nations Germany and Italy ended with a heavy, German, victory by 2-1.
During Sunday evening it was time for the return in the quarterfinals – and that match was also dramatic.
The home team took the lead from the penalty point. Joshua Kimmich was stiff and panged there 1-0.
Minutes later, Germany extended to 2-0. In connection with a corner, the Italians were busy organizing. Jamal Musial perceived the situation quickly and called on the ball and then rolled in 2-0.
Just before the half -time rest, Tim Kleindienst sent in 3-0.
This is how the semi -finals are played
Italy came out to the second half as a completely different team – and then the goals also came. Moise Kean, with a strong club team season in Fiorentina, accounted for two hits. Then, in the 93rd minute, the receipt came when Giacomo Raspadori put 3–3 from the penalty spot.
Closer than that, Italy and Germany did not come to the semi -finals after a total of 5-4 over two matches. Now Portugal is waiting.
In the second semi -finals, Spain is set against France.
The semi -finals will be decided in June.
