In a post shared on the social media account of the İdil District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was stated that “The entry and exit of cattle and sheep into the district, except for slaughter purposes, is prohibited until September 9, 2024.
Due to the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the Yüksekköy village of our district, the movements of cattle and sheep throughout our district have been closed for 2 months, except for those moving for slaughter purposes, until September 9, 2024.
It was stated that our breeders should be sensitive about this issue, otherwise penal action will be taken in accordance with Article 32 of the Law on Violations and Article 66 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442.” (İHA)
