Several alarms about suspected food poisoning

In the last few days alone, the authority has received three reports of suspected food poisoning, after customers have eaten at the restaurant.

The environmental and health protection unit has previously carried out inspections of the restaurant in question and it has been possible to demonstrate recurring deficiencies during the inspections of the premises.

Now the Environmental and Health Protection Unit believes that the deficiencies may be a reason why people report suspected food poisoning after visiting the restaurant.

The authority also assesses that the “current routines have shortcomings that pose a risk to human health.”.

Then the McDonald’s restaurant will have new routines

The environmental and health protection unit now requires an improvement on several points.

The McDonald’s restaurant will have until March 25 to present a new routine for risk management, cleaning and maintenance, says the control report which News24 took part in.

The routine must also be specific in how to manage risks to avoid consumers getting food poisoning.
