Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as expected, came down hard on Russia during his speech at the UN General Assembly in New York. Zelenskyi calls Russia’s abduction of Ukrainian children genocide.
– These children learn to hate Ukraine and the bond with their families has been broken. It is clearly a case of genocide, says Zelensky.
According to him, Ukraine is preparing a global peace meeting, where everyone who does not tolerate any aggression is welcome. Zelensky also accused Russia of using the issues of energy and food supply as a weapon in the war.
– The attacker arms himself in several ways, and those things are used not only against our country, but also against all of you, Zelenskyy says.
On Thursday, Zelenskyi is expected to meet President Joe Biden in Washington, where he will also visit the US Congress.
