To celebrate the magazine’s 70th anniversary, L’Express is organizing an exceptional conference, entitled “It was good yesterday, it will be better tomorrow” on October 18 at the Maison de la Radio, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The editorial staff of L’Express invites you to explore the world of tomorrow, in the company of visionary guests such as the intellectual Francis Fukuyama who will debate the future of democracy with Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy and Finance and industrial and digital sovereignty.

The conference will feature exclusive video interventions from Microsoft founder Bill Gates, as well as a concluding speech from Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia and Laurence Boone, Secretary of State for European Affairs. Without forgetting a round table on the world in 2093, in different areas, health, youth, agriculture… or even a masterclass from Xavier Huillard, CEO of Vinci. Also not to be missed are the insights from intellectual Gilles Kepel on the Islamist threat and from the Director General of Armaments, Emmanuel Chiva, on the risks of the world to come.
