This Thursday, June 6, the anniversary of D-Day, the commemorations will begin with the traditional ceremony at the British memorial in Ver-sur-Mer (Calvados) in the presence of Emmanuel Macron and King Charles III from 10:20 a.m. The Head of State will continue with a ceremony at the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer with his American counterpart, Joe Biden at 12:30 p.m.

In the meantime, still to pay tribute to the forces that played a crucial role in the success of the D-Day landings, a Canadian ceremony will be held in Courseulles-sur-Mer, in the presence of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
This afternoon, the international ceremony will be held at Omaha Beach to honor the soldiers of different nations who fought together, starting at 3:30 p.m. Joe Biden, Prince William for the United Kingdom, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be present, as will many heads of state and government.
From 99 to 107 years old: 200 American veterans present
