In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), after the second week of the campaign, the different candidates are still scattered throughout the territory, in order to talk about their social projects. This is the case of Floribert Anzuluni, president of the political party “Alternative Citoyenne” who participated in a public debate in Bukavu, in his province of origin, South Kivu.

Espérance Iragi, despite her pregnancy, made the trip to participate in this public debate. She addresses her grievances to candidate number 5 in the presidential election. “ I came to tell him to lower the dollar rate. Let him also lower the emoluments of deputies because it is inconceivable that a deputy receives more than $21,000 while other state agents receive between $100 and $150. And that it also rehabilitates our national roads and those which lead to the different villages in order to fight against hunger”, she demands.

Floribert Anzuluni, 40, is campaigning for his citizen movement Filimbi, for the presidential election on December 20. His social project is a social contract resulting from popular consultations held during his various engagements with civil society, he explains.
“We have three priorities: security, the predatory system of governance which must be put an end to and then the economic situation linked to the social. What we have here is a system that is set up so that a small group of people benefit from resources at the expense of the majority. We have this desire to dismantle this system,” assures Floribert Anzuluni.
Jeff Mwenyemali is a resident of Ndendere district. He followed the candidate’s message: “ Today’s Congo no longer needs people who have made politics their career; they have been there from the first Republic to the present day. We need the renewal of the political class, and it is time to support ambitious young people who have innovative projects to put governance at the service of the population. »
Floribert Anzuluni remains convinced that his training in political science, his experience in finance and his civic engagement will allow him to change the daily lives of the Congolese people.
