The floor bandy men’s World Cup starts on Saturday in Malmö, Sweden. Finland will face Latvia in the opening match.
Finland won the World Cup gold last time in 2018. Since then, two World Cup tournaments have been played, both of which have ended with celebrations in Sweden.
In the previous games, Finland missed out on bronze for the first time since 2004. In the final match, Sweden and the Czech Republic met.
After Finland won its first World Cup gold in 2008, the national team has never been without a world championship in three consecutive World Cup tournaments.
