Flooding along Ljungan – brighter forecast ahead

On average, 138 cubic meters of water from Ljungan flows into the Bothnian Sea every second. Right now, 500 cubic meters per second is flowing out.

– From our perspective, if you think about the flows, it’s not abnormal, but those who are affected and have jetties and other things that float away, we understand how it feels for them, says Mikael Petrovic Wågmark, head of communications at Statkraft Sweden.
