The areas affected are Östra Värmland County, North Western Örebro County and South Western Dalarna. The yellow warning for high water flows applies from March 29 at 11 a.m. until further notice.
There can also be high current speeds in the waterways.
Such high flows occur on average every 5 to 25 years, SMHI states.
More rain is expected in the area on Easter Sunday.
