The government has made 18 million euros available for the construction of 1,500 flexible homes in the province. Wijk bij Duurstede is the second municipality where houses have actually been built. Eemnes was the first, in April this year 40 homes were built there.
Temporary homes are also expected soon in Stichtse Vecht, Bunnik, IJsselstein and Houten.
