Flash DAGGER move from NASA! It will be talked about a lot… Advance warning can be given!

Flash DAGGER move from NASA It will be talked about

Solar storms are a mystery. There are allegations that possible strong solar storms could cause power grids to malfunction and satellites to fail. As such, it is also on the agenda to anticipate a possible strong storm and to warn and prepare people for the storm. It is said that the artificial intelligence model announced by NASA can help the world prepare for the effects of solar storms.

IT CAN HELP PREPARE FOR ITS EFFECTS

NASA said in a statement that a new computer model combining artificial intelligence and agency satellite data could help prepare for dangerous space weather conditions.

The model, called DAGGER (Deep Learning Geomagnetic Perturbation), uses a technical tool to analyze spacecraft measurements of the solar wind and predict where an approaching solar storm will strike on Earth 30 minutes in advance.

An international team of researchers at the Frontier Development Lab said the model was able to generate predictions in less than a second, and the predictions were updated every minute.

The scientists used artificial intelligence to probe the links between the solar wind and geomagnetic disturbances and applied what’s called “deep learning,” which trains computers to recognize patterns based on previous examples.

The model was tested against geomagnetic storms in August 2011 and March 2015, and DAGGER accurately predicted the effects of the storm.

THE FIRST SUCH…

Previously, models had used artificial intelligence to make predictions for specific locations. But NASA said DAGGER is the first model worldwide to combine artificial intelligence with real measurements to produce frequent and precise predictions.

“THUS, IT IS POSSIBLE TO MINIMIZE -EVEN PREVENT – THE DESTROYMENT IN MODERN SOCIETY”

Vishal Upendran from the Intercollegiate Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics in India, lead author of a paper on the DAGGER model published in the journal Space Weather, said: “With this AI, we can now make fast and accurate global forecasts and inform decisions in the event of a solar storm, thereby making it easier for modern society to It is possible to minimize—or even prevent—destruction.”

He noted that the computer code in the DAGGER model is open source and can be adopted by power grid operators, satellite controllers, telecommunications companies and others to implement predictions for specific needs.

NASA said such studies could provide ample time to prepare for storms and avoid impacts on power grids or critical infrastructure.

It is even said that one day there may be solar storm sirens at power stations and satellite control centers around the world.

THE MOST VIOLENT OF EVER EVER WAS IN 1859

The most severe solar storm on record, in 1859, caused fires at telegraph stations and prevented messages from being sent.
