Charlotte Baris: On October 14, an important scientific conference took place in Paris, yet little was heard about it. Organized by the High Authority for Health, the ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases, and Public Health France, the event brought together dozens of researchers from diverse backgrounds, with the aim of “guiding the paths of future research”.

The ambition is strong, and the day’s schedule is busy. For several hours, interventions follow one another, presentations of clinical trials and results follow one another.
